Terms of Service

Welcome to WorkNet. Use of the platform is subject to the terms set out below. We recommend reading them carefully. Use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" — the WorkNet website (worknet.co.il)
  • "Executive" — a user seeking a senior employment opportunity
  • "Employer" — a company seeking to hire a senior employee
  • "Placement" — signing of an employment agreement following an outreach made through the platform

2. Licensing

WorkNet operates under a "Private Employment Agency" license issued by the Israeli Ministry of Labor, in accordance with the Israel Employment Service Law (1959).

3. Use by Executives

  • Registration and use are completely free
  • It is forbidden to charge an executive brokerage fees, placement fees, or a percentage of salary — as required by law
  • The executive is responsible for the accuracy of profile details
  • Posting false or misleading details is prohibited
  • Profiles are reviewed by the team within 24 hours

4. Use by Employers

  • Company verification is required (company number, corporate email, signing authority)
  • Monthly subscription fees based on the chosen plan
  • Placement fee: 10-15% of annual gross salary of the hired employee
  • Payment is made after the offer is accepted and the executive has agreed
  • A tax invoice/receipt is issued automatically via Green Invoice

5. Anonymity and Discretion

  • The executive's profile is anonymous — name, current employer, and contact details are disclosed only after a placement agreement is signed
  • Stealth Mode blocks the executive's current employer from viewing the profile
  • Executives and employers are not permitted to exchange personal contact details in chat or interview prior to signing an agreement
  • Breach of this commitment may lead to account suspension and contractual monetary compensation

6. Contractual Refund Guarantee

In the event that the employee leaves or is dismissed during the probation period:

  • 30 days from the start of employment: 100% refund
  • 60 days: 50% refund
  • 90 days: 25% refund
  • Beyond 90 days: no refund

Guarantee condition: both parties acted in good faith and did not breach the employment agreement.

7. Anti-Circumvention

Important: Any attempt to establish direct contact between an employer and an executive outside the platform, prior to signing the placement agreement and paying the placement fee, is prohibited. Violation will result in:

  • Permanent account ban
  • Agreed compensation of 25% of the candidate's annual salary being circumvented
  • Legal proceedings

8. Interview Recordings

  • Every interview on the platform is recorded automatically — both parties are aware of this
  • Recordings are retained for 30 days only, to resolve disputes
  • Either party may request the recording at any time within the 30 days

9. Cancellations and Suspensions

  • An executive may delete their profile at any time
  • An employer may cancel the subscription at the end of the following month
  • WorkNet is entitled to suspend an account for breach of the Terms of Service

10. Limitation of Liability

WorkNet provides a platform connecting parties. We are not liable for:

  • The quality of work of the employee or employer
  • Salary disputes or working conditions after the agreement is signed
  • Dismissal or resignation after the guarantee period
  • Indirect damage resulting from use of the platform

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by Israeli law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of the Tel Aviv district.

12. Changes to the Terms

WorkNet is entitled to update the terms. Material updates will be sent by email to all users and will take effect 30 days after dispatch.
